school days.
Wednesday. 9.12.07 7:31 pm
It seems that all I ever do on this blog is make entries about my boring school life. With that said, you should know what this entry is going to be about. Yep, my day at school. Aren't we all so excited?

I got yelled at once again today in the principal's office by another parent on the phone. Don't they get that yelling and complaining to me does nothing? I have no authority, and the best that I can do is pass the message along to the principal once he finds his way back to his office. Then, he ignores most of messages because, like me, he finds them pointless and nothing but a waste of time. I eventually got tired of it and left, again, but this time I went with Caity to drop off some papers and then to the band room to hide out for a little while.

We had a quiz in second period. My group's notes sucked, but it was okay. Third we were outside, walking around looking like idiots holding compasses that we didn't know how to read. Lunch is lunch. I graded papers in fourth. Nothing too exciting there.

And now I'm still bored. There is a possibility that we might not have school tomorrow due to some water issues, so I'm hoping and praying that it doesn't get fixed in time. I feel bad for the people that need the water in the surrounding area, but I would really love a day off from school, as would most people. I can't wait for winter to get here so we can get our snowdays. hehe. I love snow.

What to write about...

Well, today during fourth period, I did get a break from grading papers to head down to the principal's office to find out some information about tonight's freshman football game. He was in a meeting, but there were some other students waiting outside of his door, so I decided to stick around and wait with them for a while. No one was really talking, but this one guy in my grade did start talking to me. I've only ever had one class with him, but he was talking to me like I was his best friend. He told me about the basic training place he went to over the summer, and where he was going to be stationed this coming summer. It's hard to believe that kids my age are already in the army, getting ready to be shipped out. But, I guess we really aren't kids anymore, and that's even harder to believe sometimes.

Now I understand what Peter Pan and his little group of friends were trying to do with the idea of Never Never Land or whatever that was called.
